THE
ARTIST

Sei-kashe M’pfunya (b. 1998, Harare, Zimbabwe) is a watercolor-based artist, illustrator and children’s book writer. Watercolor and illustration have been consistent tools to share Sei-kashe’s perspectives and feelings about the world. Her work, in all its various forms aim to leave her and whoever chooses to experience them, a little more healed, joyous, challenged, encouraged, or put at ease.

She is currently living in London working in implementation research in international development. She completed her Masters in Public Policy at Yale University and her B.A in international Relations and Fine Arts at Pomona College. For Sei-kashe, to paint or do artwork is as needed as to breathe - you simply can't go without it.
